Why Occupational Therapy Is Important for Children
Occupational therapy helps children build the skills they need to participate confidently in everyday activities — at home, at school, and in the community.
OT supports children who may be finding it hard to regulate their emotions, manage sensory input, develop motor skills, or become more independent in daily routines. Through play-based and goal-focused therapy, occupational therapists help children develop the foundations for learning, social participation, and self-confidence.

Why Speech Therapy is Important
Speech therapy supports children to communicate effectively — whether that’s through spoken language, gestures, visuals, or alternative communication systems.
Speech pathologists help children develop skills in understanding language, expressing needs and emotions, social communication, and building confidence when interacting with others. Strong communication skills are essential for learning, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.
